  I wanted some extra performance and power from my bmw 118d. Great customer service very knowledgeable and friendly. Full vehicle health check to make sure the car was at its optimal performance. I was amazed with the gains made from the remap and fully recommend them 5 stars !!

  Martin promised it all but delivered a very low quality job . After nearly five years of promises and overcharging as well as massive açcounting errors (11k in his favor). I finally demanded my car be finished and returned. The car was not only not finished but what was done was half arsed and needs to be redone!
  He lost/stole expensive parts from my build and refuses to replace them. When told how unhappy I was with the job he said I should take my car elsewhere!
  He also tried to bill me 6k more after I took car.
  All in all a very unprofessional repairer.
  Not good at his trade and a liar as well.
  I hope everyone thinks twice before giving this guy a go as they're in for an expensive disappointment!!!

  Be very careful before you go to Voodoo Rod and Customs for any restoration or engine performance work.
  From Martin's initial quote and experience in performing the job I was told how 'easy it was and the gains of extra HP with quote coming in at 5-6K for Cam upgrade and new high flow headers.
  His quotes are so far off its not funny, warning to anyone atleast double his price for what he will charge you.
  The most disappointing thing is I receive my Camaro back that floods, back fires at idle and driving and less power. Also not too mention large paint chips on front bumper and firewall that he failed to tell me from removing engine.
  The list goes on with a rush job reinstalling the front engine running gear out of alignment.
  I reached out to him to advise of the situation and the guy doesn't even respond -What a professional when he charges $130/hr.
  Don't be like me and fall for his hype and car talk and believe his false promises. The guy can't deliver.

  I went to Voodoo with a clear understanding that I required a reasonable close estimate I had a set budget allowing some contingency to do panel and paint but bearing in mind it wasn't a ford GT I was restoring, I am not going to spend 100K and I wasn't an open cheque book.
  
  So I was initially told around 25-30K and 3-4 months which was possible so commenced, After the car was sandblasted and STARTED without reassessment which took 6 months I might add. I was told oh by the way there will be a price hike to 45K, so after getting concerned and requesting a detailed cost analysis I was told, NO it will be 60-65K not including the supposed 10K already spent which only included sandblasting epoxy the car a butchered sun visor and front guard a small metal patch on the bonnet and $350 worth of zinc coating and lost parts never recovered as the only work undertaken.
  
  Martin is deceitful, lies and is nothing but an out and out rogue/rip of merchant, like allot in this industry. They lure customers in until they are so committed, they can’t stop and rip them off blind on the way.
  
  BE CAREFUL don't listen to his own hype on ability don't go near this business unless you have an unlimited budget or have no issue using cash to BBQ with.
